Void is not a space to be filled,
but a space full of itself.
Born in Kanagawa, Japan in 1979.
Graduated from Keio University majoring in American Language and Literature. After a brief work experience decided to dedicate herself to what has always been her greatest passion, painting, enrolling in 2004 at Tokyo Art University, where she obtained her degree in 2008 specializing in oil painting. After starting a specialization course under the guidance of Professor Koji Kinutani, again at the Tokyo Art University , in 2009 she was selected as one of the emerging young artists through the competition held by the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation, which provided her an atelier in Venice, where she began her study experience in Italy, attending the Academy of Fine Arts. A collaboration with the Galleria L’Ariete Contemporanea in Bologna began in 2011. Since 2017 lives and works in Faenza, Italy.
